Perched at an altitude of 1,830 meters in the heart of Alpe d'Huez, the Grandes Rousses Hotel & Spa has been cultivating a sense of hospitality for four generations. With 77 rooms, 18 suites, 2 mini lofts, 1 loft, and 2 chalets, our hotel was designed in the spirit of an Alpine chalet—easy-going, intergenerational, cozy, and warm. Open year-round, our hotel thrives amidst the numerous events of Alpe d'Huez and is a partner of Tomorrowland Winter and the International Comedy Film Festival of Alpe d'Huez. Nicknamed "the island in the sun," the resort enjoys over 300 days of sunshine annually. This provides ample opportunity to explore a myriad of outdoor activities across 10,000 hectares, including 250 km of ski slopes and mountain biking trails, as well as to relax on numerous sun-drenched terraces at places like La Folie Douce. It's a destination where living well is a year-round affair.
